MOST COMMONLY ASKED WEDDING QUESTIONS

Q: CAN I BRING MY OWN ALCOHOL?

Yes, you are welcome to bring your own alcohol. We require you use a bartending company on our preferred vendor list. 

Q: DO YOU ALLOW OUTSIDE VENDORS?

While we prefer using vendors whom we know and can vouch for, if there is a vendor that is important to you, we can make additional arrangements. Any outside vendor must be pre-approved by Dove Ridge Vineyard, insured, and agree to Dove Ridge Vineyard quality standards. 

Q: DO YOU OFFER A SHUTTLE SERVICE?

We do not, but we’d be more than happy to offer recommendations on services nearby.

Q: DOES DOVE RIDGE PROVIDE TABLES AND CHAIRS?

Yes. The venue rental includes the use of eight 6ft and 8ft rectangular tables, two 4ft tables, and forty 60in round tables. There are 300 outdoor ceremony chairs and 300 chiavari chairs for indoor use.

Q: IS A REHEARSAL INCLUDED?

Yes. We include one hour for a rehearsal that may be scheduled the week of your wedding, based on availability, or the hour may be added to your wedding day for a same day rehearsal. Rehearsals are scheduled 60 days prior to your wedding day.

Q: DOES DOVE RIDGE VINEYARD PROVIDE A WEDDING PLANNER?

A venue facilitator will be on site for the entire day of your event. We do recommend having a wedding coordinator. We have several wonderful planners on our preferred vendor list.

Q: IS SECURITY REQUIRED FOR EVERY WEDDING?

Yes. Every event must have security arranged through an approved security vendor on the  Dove Ridge Vineyard preferred vendor list.

Q: ARE YOU DOG-FRIENDLY?

Q: IS THERE A MINIMUM NUMBER OF GUESTS FOR A WEDDING?

 There is no minimum. We do have a maximum of 400 with no dance floor, 350 with a nice sized dance floor. 

Q: IS THERE A NOISE ORDINANCE??

With 56 acres of private property, there is no need to worry about any noise complaints!

Q: DO YOU ALLOW CANDLES?

We do allow real candles as long as they are inside a container that is taller than the flame of the candle. I.e., Votive candle holder, floating candles in glass containers, and glass cylinder vases.

Q: HOW MANY HOURS IS THE VENUE RENTAL?

The venue rental is for 12 hours, ending no later than midnight. The last hour of your selected time must be reserved for vendor load out and décor removal. Additional morning hours can be purchased for $250 per hour.

Q: CAN I DESIGN MY OWN FLOORPLAN?

Yes. We use allseated.com where you can design your own layout. We provide both the set up and break down of tables and chairs.

Q: HANDICAP ACCESSIBLE?

Dove Ridge Vineyard is fully ADA compliant.

Q: WHEN CAN VENDORS DELIVER ITEMS TO MY WEDDING?

Vendors may deliver the day of your wedding during your contracted hours at the venue. All items must be removed at the end of the event during your specified time.

Q: ARE THERE ANY RESTRICTIONS FOR DECORATIONS?

All decorations must be free standing, nothing can be hung from the chandeliers or walls. Confetti, glitter, and smoke machines are not allowed. Fresh flower petals may be used for the ceremony, but must be picked up after the event and lightly colored (other colors stain the concrete).
